RATS
Rats can cause structural damage to buildings and homes by burrowing and gnawing on electrical wires and water pipes causing extensive costly damage. In addition, they may damage structures further by gnawing holes through doors, windowsills, walls, ceilings, and floors allowing the outside elements to penetrate the home.
FOXES
Foxes may damage your yard by digging up flowers and other plants. The fox is the most feared chicken-killer. It is smart, sly and savvy, and it strikes when your guard is down. They will also raid trash cans and strew trash over a yard.
Squirrels
Squirrels may be cute, but will hide in your attic space and can gnaw on furniture , wood beams and electrical wires causing thousand’s of dollars worth of damage. Squirrels also mark their territory with their foul smelling urine. Not only can this be unsanitary, but accumulated squirrel feces and urine can also contain salmonellosis. Accidental exposure may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and chills.
Snakes
Snakes may nest in the attic or other secluded spaces in your home. Snakes can be dangerous and or poisonous . If you run into one that is nesting, it may try to defend its territory and attack you.
ARMADILLO
Armadillos, with their sharp claws, can cause considerable amounts of damage to flower beds and lawns by digging 3-5 foot wide holes. They can also cause structural damage by burrowing under driveways, sidewalks and patios.
BATS
Bats themselves are not known to cause major structural damage to your home, but their accumulated droppings can. Guano can stain your ceiling or walls and damage your insulation. Depending on your home’s layout, it could even contaminate your water. Some bats can eat up to 1,000 mosquitos in a hour. So, relocating these animals outside can actually help with some insect control.
